Why hire a Professional Organizer?
A Professional organizer will help you organize and simplify spaces, rooms and processes in your life, whether it is in your home or office. Some people have a vision of what they want to be more organized and reduce stress, but they just don’t have the time to make the vision a reality. Other people recognize there must be a better way to have more organization and calm in their lives but need some guidance, solutions and help to get there. Either way, a professional organizer will partner with you and help guide you through the entire process leading to a more simplified and organized life. We also help with preparing for a move, downsizing, staging and setting up your new home.
What happens to items I decide to 'let go"?
We find that our customers feel more at ease with letting items go when they know they are being given to reputable organization(s). We work closely with our customers to "re-home" their items to several local niche charities. When our customers purchase service packages, we haul out whatever we can reasonably and safely fit in our vehicle after each session to donate to these niche charities. We will also coordinate donation pick-ups right from your home.
Do I need to be there while you organize?
Simply stated, no. If it is straight organization without a lot of decision making our clients are often not present after the initial consultation. When there is a lot of purging our clients play a critical part in making decisions around keep, donate, sell, or discard. If a client is not able to be present for sessions, we will make arrangements to work in stages to allow for decisions from our client throughout the process.
What are your COVID practices?
We do not schedule multiple customer sessions in the same day. This minimizes exposure as organizer is freshly showered and wearing clean attire for the session. Our organizers use hand sanitizer prior to sessions and wear a sanitized mask for the entire session. Gloves are worn as appropriate. We are limiting our customer base at this time to minimize COVID exposure and help keep everyone safe. We tend to be huggers so maintaining distance during sessions and not giving hugs during an emotional session is hard for us!

Should I straighten up before you come over?
No, it is important to understand your current daily life setting so that we can help you with the best recommendations and organization solutions.
How long will it take?
Every project/session is unique. The amount of time it takes to reach your goals depends on many variables such as: amount of disorganization; how full boxes/tubs are and with what; speed of decision-making; ability/willingness to complete tasks in between sessions, and more. We will always work quickly and efficiently to achieve your desired goals, while being mindful of the pace that works best for you.
Will my session be confidential?
Absolutely! All conversations, information and sessions are held in the strictest of confidence. We will always respect your privacy and what comes to light during our journey together. Before/after pictures are never shared without explicit permission and never reflect any personal identity information.
How do you charge for your services?
Our services are charged by the hour and we do offer discounted rates when an hourly package is purchased. Organization supplies and accessories, as needed, are in addition to services. There is a three (3)+ hour minimum per session.
What locations do you serve?
We are based in Catonsville, Maryland and serve central Maryland and some outlying counties depending on our schedule. For business solutions our service area extends nationwide.
